About the Role
As a Product Manager at Dandelion Labs, you were the connective tissue between startup founders and our engineering teams. You took big ideas — sometimes half-formed, sometimes overly ambitious — and shaped them into buildable, shippable products. You understood that for early-stage startups, the MVP isn't just a product; it's a fundraising tool, a validation mechanism, and a foundation for everything that comes next. Your job was to ensure we built the right thing, not just build things right.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with startup founders to understand their vision, market, and constraints
- Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize features based on user value, business impact, and technical feasibility
- Create and maintain product roadmaps aligned with fundraising and go-to-market timelines
- Collaborate with designers to create user experiences that solve real problems
- Work with engineers to scope work, manage trade-offs, and ensure timely delivery
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate product decisions
- Communicate product status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders
- Define success metrics and track product performance post-launch
Requirements
- 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or startup environments
- Proven ability to ship products from concept to launch
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working closely with engineering teams and understanding technical constraints
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with changing requirements
- User research and UX intuition
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools
Nice to Have
- Experience at early-stage startups (seed to Series A)
- Technical background or ability to read and understand code
- Experience with specific verticals: fintech, healthtech, marketplace, or developer tools
- Track record of products that helped startups raise funding
- Experience with product-led growth strategies
