Product Manager

About the Role

As a Product Manager at Dandelion Labs, you were the connective tissue between startup founders and our engineering teams. You took big ideas — sometimes half-formed, sometimes overly ambitious — and shaped them into buildable, shippable products. You understood that for early-stage startups, the MVP isn't just a product; it's a validation mechanism, a growth engine, and a foundation for everything that comes next. Your job was to ensure we built the right thing, not just build things right.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with startup founders to understand their vision, market, and constraints
• Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Prioritize features based on user value, business impact, and technical feasibility
• Create and maintain product roadmaps aligned with growth and go-to-market timelines
• Collaborate with designers to create user experiences that solve real problems
• Work with engineers to scope work, manage trade-offs, and ensure timely delivery
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate product decisions
• Communicate product status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders
• Define success metrics and track product performance post-launch

Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or startup environments
• Proven ability to ship products from concept to launch
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working closely with engineering teams and understanding technical constraints
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with changing requirements
• User research and UX intuition
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools

Nice to Have

• Experience at early-stage startups
• Technical background or ability to read and understand code
• Experience with specific verticals: fintech, healthtech, marketplace, or developer tools
• Track record of products that helped startups grow and gain traction
• Experience with product-led growth strategies
